Ambassador Program Overview
Please note: The Ambassador Program is phase 2 of The 10 Pound Challenge, and is only open to members once they have completed The 10 Pound Challenge.
The Ambassador Program is about keeping you motivated and moving towards your healthy weight loss goals. As a member of this program, you’ll get a personalized nutrition assessment plus a follow-up coaching session halfway through the 8 week program, monthly group coaching sessions with the other ambassadors, e-mail check-ins to make sure you are on track, and weekly accountability – to the group, the 10 Pound Challengers and most important, to you! …oh, and I will be checking to make sure you are staying on track and to hold you accountable with the weekly accountability challenges!

Pre-Week 1
Track your food intake
- Track your food / beverage intake for 4 days and send it to me by Thursday, January 16th
- I’ll forward you the food record form to fill out
Week 1 (Thursday, Jan 16th)
Launch webinar/Coaching session for The Ambassador Program – Thursday, January 16th at 6:15 pm
- During the webinar we’ll review what you can expect from phase 2 – The Ambassador program
- You will get started right away – Meal plan, grocery list, recipes (1200 + 1400 calorie plans)
- Plus we’ll discuss your challenges and what nutrition tools you would like from me during the program – i.e. Resources / tools / more recipes, etc
Weekly Accountability Challenge
- Facebook post – why does losing weight matter to you?
- Weekly Tuesday weigh in
Week 2 (Thursday, Jan 23rd)
Nutrition coaching Session
- 45 minute 1-1 nutrition assessment (phone or video chat).
- Discuss challenges
- Provide feedback re: food record
- Set specific goals, tasks, strategies and targets
Weekly Accountability Challenge
- Facebook post – Find 1 healthy option for when grabbing food on the run around where you work and where you live, and post it on facebook (for example – Picking up a roast chicken from a local market near your home, or grabbing a fresh fruit salad as a snack from a food court that has a fresh salad bar)

Week 3 (Thursday, Jan 30th)

- What did you do well this week?
- What was your biggest challenge this week?
- What is one thing you can do today that will would help with your challenge or solve the problem?
Weekly Accountability Challenge
- Facebook post – Share your biggest success this week on the Facebook page. For example, you exercised 4 times that week, or you ate out with colleagues and chose a healthy item (whereas usually you would choose something less healthy). The purpose of this post is to share something you did differently, that will help you keep moving towards your goals

Week 4 (Thursday, Feb 6th)
Group coaching session / webinar (time TBD)
- During the webinar we’ll discuss what’s working for you and where you need support
- As a group, we’ll brainstorm and come up with solutions together, so at the end of the session you will have strategies you can implement right away
- Nutrition tips – how to make any food fit into a healthy meal plan for weight loss
Weekly Accountability Challenge
- Facebook post – Post an encouraging note to the group on Facebook! OR a link to a favorite recipe.
- Weekly Tuesday weigh in
Week 5 (Feb 13th)
E-mail check in
- Review strategies and solutions from the group coaching session
- New meal plan / recipes
- You’ll also track your food intake this week for 3-4 days for review and feedback, and send it prior to our 2nd 1-1 coaching session the upcoming week
Weekly Accountability Challenge
- Facebook post – Post one of the strategies you tried from the group coaching session that worked for you on the facebook page
- Weekly Tuesday weigh in
Week 6 (Feb 20th)
Nutrition coaching Session
- 1-1 coaching session (25 minutes)
- Review food record, provide feedback
- Strategize and set goals and targets

- Facebook post – Post an encouraging note to the group on Facebook! OR a link to a favorite recipe.

Week 7 (Feb 27th)
Email check-in
- What did you do well this week?

- What is one thing you can do today that will would help with your challenge or solve the problem?
Weekly Accountability Challenge
- Facebook post – Share 1 habit you have formed over the last 7 weeks – for example, you bring lunch with you to work every day, or you have a mid afternoon snack every day during the work week, or you stopped eating within 3 hours of bed
- Weekly Tuesday weigh in
Week 8 (Mar 6th)
Group coaching session / webinar
- During the session, as a group we’ll brainstorm how to keep you motivated
- Review nutrition tips and answer any questions
- Plan next steps!
Weekly Accountability Challenge
- Facebook post – Post your results and congratulations to the group on Facebook! (For example, how many pounds lost OR something you have committed to over the last 8 weeks that will help you keep moving forward towards your goals!
